This oil soothes and balances the mind. It has antidepressant properties and can help alleviate anxiety, stress, nervous tension and help people deal with emotional problems such as anger, grief, sadness, and loss.
It is also beneficial for the physical heart and the respiratory and digestive systems. It can also help with headaches and migraines and is reputed to have aphrodisiac properties.
Rose Essential Oil is used primarily for therapeutic body massage. Massaging with rose oil improves the blood and lymph circulation in the body. It also enhances the activity of glands, muscles and nervous systems, thus rose oil rejuvenates the skin and body. It also protects the skin from psoriasis, eczema and any other skin ailments.
Our Rose starts it journey in Bulgaria as a ‘concrete’, which is made by solvent extraction, after which an ‘absolute’ is obtained from the concrete, by separation with alcohol. It takes about 60,000 roses, about 40,000 kilograms to make 1 litre of rose oil.
Rose blends well with most oils, but particularly well with Chamomile Roman, Clove Bud, Geranium, Jasmine, Orange sweet, Palmarosa and Sandalwood
This oil is diluted in jojoba oil which is more viscous than a Pure Essential Oil and therefore difficult to get out of the bottle; to overcome this problem we have supplied our diluted oils with large hole droppers. It should be remembered that if jojoba is allowed to become too cold it will solidify, this does not damage the blend simply gently warm the bottle and the blend will become liquid again.
